Terms of Service

Last updated: March 20, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Flock ChMS ("Flock", "the platform"), operated by Gr8QM, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

Flock is a church management system that provides tools for managing members, attendance, finances, communications, events, discipleship, and other church operations. The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. Church administrators are responsible for managing access within their church account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the platform's security
  • Impersonate another person or organisation
  • Use the platform to send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Attempt to access data belonging to other churches
  • Resell or redistribute the platform without authorisation

5. Church Data

Churches retain ownership of all data they input into the platform. Flock does not claim ownership of church data. Church administrators are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate consent to store and process member information.

6. Third-Party Integrations

The platform may integrate with third-party services (e.g. Google Workspace, YouTube, Google Drive, Gmail). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. When you connect your Google account, you grant Flock permission to access specific Google APIs on your behalf, as detailed in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or data handling.

7. Online Giving and Payments

Flock is church management software. Flock is not a bank, a payment processor, or a money services business, and Flock does not hold, control, or take title to your church’s funds. Card and transfer payments are processed by a licensed payment provider (currently Paystack), and settlement is made to a bank account you supply. Your use of that provider is subject to its own terms.

We strongly recommend that your church opens and holds its own Paystack account. Doing so means your church is the account holder and merchant of record, you retain full and direct control of your funds, and you can see every transaction in your own provider dashboard. Opening an account is free.

Where your church is unable to do so, we may at our discretion, and only with our prior approval, allow gifts to be collected through Flock’s payment provider account and settled directly to a bank account you nominate. If you choose this option you confirm that you are authorised to do so on behalf of your church, that the nominated bank account belongs to your church, and that you have verified the account name shown to you before confirming. You remain responsible for the accuracy of those details. We take no commission or percentage from gifts given to your church under either option.

Refunds, chargebacks, disputes, and any related fees or recoveries remain the responsibility of your church. You are responsible for meeting your own tax, reporting, receipting, and charity or regulatory obligations. Figures shown in Flock are provided for your convenience and should be reconciled against your payment provider and bank records before being relied upon for accounting, tax, or statutory reporting.

We may suspend or withdraw payment features, including collection on your behalf, where we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law, with our payment provider’s requirements, or to prevent misuse.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications to the platform at any time. We will attempt to provide advance notice of planned downtime.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gr8QM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may discontinue use at any time by contacting us to delete your account.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notice.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
